Job Description:
Fast growing engineered cable assembly solutions company is now searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department.
Duties to include:
Process daily invoices - Review invoices for accuracy - Determine status of any credit cards issued - Settle credit cards - Includes returning customers to credit hold - Mail/Email invoices - Review remote deposits of incoming payments - Input into database Release credit holds by verifying pre-approval on credit cards, wire has been received, or credit issue has been resolved - Work with customer and/or sales if needed - Credit reference checks - Send credit package - Review data received for completeness - Complete credit references - Dunning of customers - Contact customers whose invoices are past due - Make notes of all communication - Put accounts on credit hold as needed - Communicate with Accounting Manager when accounts are non-responsive - Communicate with Accounting Manager when accounts are greater than 90 days past due Create Proforma Invoices Intercompany Accounts Receivable duties as assigned Backup to Accounts Payable as needed Other duties are assigned by management Desired Skills &
Experience:
Minimum 5yrs
bookkeeping/accounting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with Visual software a plus Positive attitude a must Must maintain confidentially The ideal candidate will be ambitious, is able to work independently, and have a dynamic personality.
