is currently seeking a Test Technician to join our fast-growing cable assembly department.
The Test Technician will be responsible for performing daily testing of our cable assembly and wire harness products.
Duties to include:
Set up and operation of various test equipment such as Cirris, Fluke, network analyzer, pull tester and multimeter in accordance with COM test procedures.
Recording and maintaining test data.
Diagnosing test failures and coordinating repairs with assembly personnel.
Building and maintaining fixtures as required.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
3-5 years' experience with cable assemblies, wire harnessing and box builds.
Experience with resistance, hi-pot, and computerized testing systems.
Ability to interpret and comprehend mechanical/electrical wiring diagrams.
Soldering experience and use of crimp/hand tools directly related to cable/harness work.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and friendly disposition is imperative.
Certified to IPC WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 a plus.
