The IOP Counselor provides direct counseling and case management services to patients, consisting of individual, and group services, including assessment, individualized treatment plans, counseling and aftercare services.
The IOP Counselor will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assess assigned clients and develop individualized treatment plans Completes assessments and other required documentation according to policy to procedure.
Conduct individual counseling session with assigned clients.
Document individual counseling sessions with assigned clients in accordance with facility policy and procedures, State regulations and CARF standards within the established time frame.
Conduct group therapy sessions on a regular basis as scheduled.
Document individual and group therapy sessions within established time frames and according to policies and procedures.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of counseling theory and techniques.
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of DSM-5.
Develop and implement appropriate therapeutic activities and/or programs.
Address issues identified in the treatment plans and focus on problems that occur.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of group process, mental illness/substance abuse, developmental disabilities, and other designated skill areas.
Conduct emergency counseling sessions as needed.
Appropriately de-escalate disruptive or crisis situations.
Be appropriately available to clients during times of emotional, physical or life crisis.
Present appropriate client information to the treatment team; participate in team discussion and evaluation of client goals, objectives and motivations.
Qualifications:
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) required! Minimum of 1 year experience in substance abuse treatment Have demonstrated superior clinical skills and the ability to share expertise with others To understand the clinical benefits and limitations of urine screens, toxicology, and other testing procedures Trained/certified in CPR and Basic Life Support To be culturally competent Knowledge of 12-step Recovery Program theory preferred Knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of and experience working with Microsoft Access helpful.
The most qualified candidates shall be proficient in Cisco/Webex or Zoom videoconferencing platforms.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
